Sales Consultant | London

People may ask what makes someone with a background as Director of Music suitable for a role in sales for a Travel Management Company. The answer would have to be the considerable skill set that the previous role provides, conducting, observing and educating to name just a few. The skill with the largest attraction for EQ is, of course, listening. In a world full of travel management companies EQ’s philosophy of offering a travel programme that reflects the exact needs of your organisation can only be achieved through effective communication and with listening being the key component of successful communication, who better than a man with a good ear.

Reservations Team | Boston

At EQ every member of our reservation team is handpicked. To be part of our organisation, the highest levels of customer service, a wealth of experience and a working knowledge of travel vendors is paramount. Among the most experienced in the industry our agents all have extensive training in international fare construction and are trained to use multiple reservations systems, enabling them access to the reservations systems of our offices in the UK, Europe, North America and Australia as well as those of our global partners. Each of our reservation teams consists of four agents. This allows our agents to get to know the likes and dislikes your travellers and travel bookers. You have the invaluable benefit of getting to know the small team of dedicated people who are your primary contacts for all aspects of your travel programme. Our agents work in “buddy” pairs, the buddies will never be on holiday at the same time, so ensure there’s always a person with in-depth knowledge of your account to help you.
